Classes resumed throughout the Valley Stream Central High School District on September 3, as teachers and staff warmly welcomed students back to school for the 2025-2026 school year.
This year, the District will continue its focus on three core pillars: equity, innovation, and wellness. These values guide the District’s mission to provide a supportive, engaging, and forward-thinking education for all students.
“Everyone here at the Valley Stream Central High School District is looking forward to a fun and exciting year of learning and growth,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Wayne Loper. “We are always striving to provide our students as robust and supportive a learning environment as possible, and I look forward to seeing our school community thrive throughout the year.”
