The Valley Stream Central High School District (VSCHSD) varsity girls flag football team was recently named to USA Today’s Super 25 National Girls Flag Football Rankings, a list that recognizes VSCHSD’s team as one of the top high school programs in the country, and the only team from New York State to earn this distinction.
Released in April, USA Today’s rankings spotlight the nation’s elite teams, assessing them based on skill, strategy, and season success. The honor underscores the dedication, hard work, and talent of VSCHSD’s athletes under Head Coach Brian Kelly and Assistant Coach Michael Favuzzi.
The team has continued its successful season, boasting a 12-2 record so far, further solidifying players’ place among the nation’s best.
