Students in the Valley Stream Central High School District Automotive Program took a recent field trip to the Village of Valley Stream Department of Public Works.
By touring the real-life work environment, students had an opportunity to observe several industry professions, including automotive repair, welding, metal fabrication, sanitation work and road work. They were led through the facility by the Village supervisor of fleet services, Timothy Graham.
