The Valley Stream Central High School District recently held its annual graduation ceremony for Valley Stream Central High School District students graduating after completing summer school coursework. The Class of 2021 was celebrated for its hard work and dedication throughout the summer to earn their diplomas.
“I am proud of each and every one of the students that have graduated this summer,” said Dr. Wayne Loper, Acting Superintendent of Valley Stream Central High School District. “These graduates have shown perseverance throughout the summer to complete their high school studies and earn their high school diplomas. On behalf of our Board of Education, administration, and teachers, I wish them all success and happiness throughout the next stage of their lives. I am confident that they will continue to make all of us at the Valley Stream Central High School District proud.”
During the ceremony, students were called up one by one to receive their diplomas from members of the Valley Stream Central High School District Board of Education as well as Summer School administration. Twelve students received their diplomas and celebrated with their proud parents, family members and district officials in attendance.
