Students and staff of Memorial Junior High School celebrated CARE week by participating in activities that focused on caring for yourself, others and the environment.
The festivities included giving compliments to others, being a team player, spreading kindness to one another, supporting peers by including others and providing breast cancer awareness by wearing pink. Throughout the week, students and staff also dressed for theme of the day.
The seventh grade class council and the BRAVE club created an outstanding display of ways students can care for others. The display was called, “MJHS a Rainbow of Possibilities.” In addition, eighth and ninth grade class councils and the GSA Club decorated bathrooms with uplifting messages for students.
