The district is proud to announce that three performing art student members of the Central High School’s chapter of the International Thespian Honor Society, Troupe #6729, have been selected to perform in the NY Thespian statewide virtual performance of “Kodachrome.”
Juniors Afia Kapadwala, Emily Monfort and Josh Nixon applied and auditioned with other theater students throughout New York State. Their roles in “Kodachrome” will deliver a story about love, nostalgia, the seasons and how to learn to say goodbye. All three students are on the New York State Thespian Board. In addition, senior Crystina Windham and junior Edward Uzhca are also on the board but they will not be participating in this weekend’s performance.
The district congratulates these students on this accomplishment. The inaugural statewide production will be livestreamed Feb. 19 and Feb. 20. To purchase tickets, visit https://nythespians.booktix.com.
