Memorial Junior High School’s World Language students and teachers did not let the constraints of a pandemic get in the way of celebrating the languages, heritages and cultures that make the school such a special place.
Whether in school or remote, students displayed a flag, wore special attire or a T-shirt to honor their heritage country. In addition, an after-school Blooket online competition in French, Italian and Spanish challenged students on their knowledge of the languages studied at Memorial.
Another highlight was a virtual heritage celebration of students and teachers proudly representing their heritages through music, food, dance and apparel. See below to view the video.
