Valley Stream South High School capped a perfect Homecoming celebration on September 20 with a decisive 28-6 victory for the South Football Falcons over rivals Sewanhaka.
The day’s festivities began with a vibrant homecoming festival, staffed by dedicated PTSA volunteers and featuring food from local businesses. Then came the Homecoming parade, with students showcasing their class banners and their Falcon school spirit.
A highlight was the traditional Senior Walk, where senior athletes, band members, and dance and cheerleading squad members were escorted onto the field by their family members, receiving ovations from the crowd.
The Football Falcons then took the field, delivering a powerful performance to secure the 28-6 win, energizing the packed home stands and providing a triumphant conclusion to a memorable Homecoming 2025.
