Valley Stream, NEW YORK (February, 2022)—Cle-andré Stewart, a stand-out athlete for Valley Stream South High School, signed his letter of intent on February 2 to play Division I football for Stony Brook University next year.
Cle-andré is a member of the Colonial Athletic Association and has been an integral part of South’s varsity football team for the past four years. This last season, he led the team in total yards, as well as being named All-County Honorable Mention and Academic All-Conference. In addition to football, Cle-andré has played varsity basketball for South.
“This accomplishment is a testament to Cle-andré’s hard work in the classroom and on the field,” South High School Principal Maureen Henry said. “Congratulations to him and his family. I wish him the best of luck in his college career.”
