The district is proud to announce that South High School senior Gloria Kim’s Capstone research, “The Effects of Multilingualism on Reading Speed,” has been published in the Journal of Student Research.
Gloria did extensive work to craft her research question and design her method. She collected data from 90 participants and compared both monolinguals and multilinguals to test their reading speed. In addition, Gloria meticulously analyzed this data drawing her conclusions as well as identifying the limitations and implications of this research.
The district is incredibility proud of her tremendous accomplishment.
