Dear Incoming Families,
Welcome to the Valley Stream Central High School District! We are excited to support your transition from elementary school to junior high school. To ease your child’s transition, we are offering an optional incoming Summer Bridge program at our three Junior High Schools from 8:30 am – 10:15 am. During this two-week period, we will focus on team-building, communication skills, project-based learning, and orientation activities. Attending this program will be an opportunity for you to reconnect with old friends and begin new friendships with other students who will be with you in September. There is no cost for this program. Please indicate your interest in attending by completing the form below by June 16th. Detailed information will be shared after that date for those that express interest. Please note there will be a formal orientation program at the end of August as well.
North Incoming Grade 7: July 10-July 13 and July 17-20
Memorial Incoming Grade 7: July 24-27 and July 31-August 3
South Incoming Grade 7: August 7-August 10 and August 14-17
