Valley Stream Memorial Junior High School’s Vallerettes delivered a strong performance at the 2026 Long Island Dance and Drill Team (LIDTA) competition, earning third place in the kick category.
The LIDTA competition brings together dance and drill teams from across Long Island to showcase their skills in various categories, including kick, pom, and dance. Teams are evaluated on precision, choreography, synchronization, and overall performance quality.
Led by coaches Ms. Ferguson and Mrs. Reid, the Vallerettes demonstrated talent, hardwork and teamwork, culminating in a memorable finish to the season.
The Memorial Vallerettes earned Third Place in the kick category at the Long Island Dance and Drill Team competition.
