The Memorial Junior High School celebrated World Kindness Day, as a way to promote the significance of spreading kindness to others and the world.
The day was filled with several activities, including students and staff taking photos with the #Kindness sign and photos in front of the murals that were created by the eighth and ninth grade class councils. In addition, the GSA club hosted fun activities in the cafeteria where students had the opportunity to win tie dye masks as a prize. Positive messages on kindness were posted to the We are Memorial team page, illustrated on posters and T-shirts, and announced throughout the day over the loudspeaker.
