Memorial Junior High School celebrated its first-ever VE JV Trade Show, which provided student-entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their business acumen and creativity. Eight student-run virtual enterprise firms, including those from neighboring school districts, competed in the event, presenting their products and services to judges and attendees.
The competition featured awards in multiple categories, with standout firms earning top honors:
- Memorial’s Barkery won in the Most Professional Company and Best Sales Materials categories.
- Simple claimed the Best Booth Design award.
- Pro Bakers triumphed in the Sales Pitch Competition.
The event provided hands-on experience in marketing, sales, and teamwork, reinforcing real-world business skills. Plans are already underway for next year’s trade show.
