Memorial Junior High School recently held its annual Serves for Cece fundraiser, a volleyball tournament that brings the entire school community together in honor of Cecelia “Cece” Ramroop, a former Memorial student remembered for her kindness, joy, and community spirit.
The tournament saw students and staff competing on the volleyball court, showcasing the community spirit that Cece inspired. The event raised more than $770 which went to Memorial families in need during the holiday season.
The organizers for this special event were Ms. Amanda Milano and Ms. Tracy Alesia. Mr. Lenny Fiorentino helped run the tournament brackets. The District thanks every student, staff member, volunteer, and donor who played, cheered, and contributed to making the event a success.
