Memorial Builders and HOPE Clubs Collect $400 in Gift Cards for Children in Need

Valley Stream, NEW YORK (January 2022) — Students from Valley Stream Memorial Junior High School’s Builders and Hope clubs collected roughly $400 in gift cards for local children in need this holiday season.

As part of their annual toy drive, members of the service clubs created fliers, which they handed out to friends and family, to help gather donations to the Holy Name of Mary Church in Valley Stream. Because of the pandemic, the church was only accepting gift cards this year.
