Valley Stream, NY (October 2021)—Students of Valley Stream Central High School showed off their school spirit on Friday, October 22 during the school’s pep rally. Performances by the school’s Kickline Streamers, Band, Cheerleaders, and Step Team were several of the event's highlights. In addition, the introduction of Homecoming King and Queen Roy Longarzo and Dahlia Wilson drew applause and congratulations from the cheering crowd of students, family, friends, and building faculty and staff.
“It was wonderful to be able to hold our annual pep rally again and feel the great energy and enthusiasm of everyone in attendance,” said Dr. Joseph Pompilio, Principal of Valley Stream Central High School. “Eagle spirit was at an all-time high. Days like this are a great reminder of how truly amazing our community is.”
The pep rally was coordinated by Mr. Rubino, Athletic Director of Valley Stream Central High School, and hosted by Mr. Alesia, one of the coaches of the Central High School football team. “Our students never cease to amaze us,” said Mr. Alesia. “Valley Stream Central High School students’ energy and support for each other, as demonstrated at our pep rally, is truly unparalleled.”
