This WebQuest is designed for students enrolled in the Marine Biology elective at the high school level. It is is designed to increase the students’ knowledge of marine organisms and to expose them to web based technology in an academic setting. Through this WebQuest students will enhance their internet research skills, as well as their understanding of PowerPoint. In addition, this activity will improve student’s time management and oral presentation skills which they will need throughout their lives.

 

The estimated duration of the WebQuest is about 5 class days.
